Tallapoosa Wellness Collective of Carrollton

The Tallapoosa Wellness Collective of Carrollton partners with educators and guides who are dedicated to the well being and health of both mind and body through the practice of yoga, tai chi, meditation, kids yoga, and other inclusive activities. As a Collective, we also provide meeting space to our community partners and office space for practitioners who optimize wellness.

Never kayaked before? Cool!

Never tried yoga? Great!

Join Serena Robbins from the Tallapoosa Wellness Collective as we team up with Lazy River Rentals to paddle the Tallapoosa River. This event is a great time for both beginners and those well-connected on the water and the mat. Connect with people of shared interest in nature, get grounded in what matters, feel awesome! It looks like this: a short centering yoga practice, some kayak instructions, kayak for a while, break, do some more yoga, eat your lunch, and then kayak some more - all among friends. The cost for this event is just $34, rental kayak and shuttle included.

Sunday, July 22 | 10:30 am

If you have any questions about Kayoga or this event, give Pat a call (678.390.4601) or register by emailing

Rescheduled Yoga with Goats!

We are sorry to say that we have had to cancel the Yoga with Goats class due to a lack of registrations for the three classes. We are looking at offering the classes again in the fall when it is cooler for both participants and goats. Keep an eye on the website and our Facebook page for updates!

12-Week Tour of Mindfulness and Meditation

Mindfulness is a practice of awareness that turns us on to ourselves. Typically, we go about our day looking for the next thing to do or conversely with our minds situated somewhere in the past. And that’s normal; it’s what we human beings do! However, through a practice of mindfulness, we attempt to uncover the subtle essence that exists in the present moment as a way to be more whole and present in the world.

This 12-week tour will have elements that range from practice to discussing, from posture to problems, and from eating to insight. Yes, we will meet once a week for 60 minutes of practice and discovery that will be followed by tea and open discussion. However, the real practice will come from the time you spend each day on your own as we experiment together what a daily practice has in store for us.

From week to week the classes will build on each other, though you may attend as many or as few classes as you are available to:

June: 13th, 20th & 27th                                     July: 4th, 18th & 25th

August: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th                   September: 5th

Meet your Tour Guide: Hello there! My name is Camden Vancil and I am a graduate student at the University who has a passion for mindfulness. For the past 5 years I have had a daily practice that I look forward to sharing and developing further in community with you. You can have no experience at all or all the experience in the world. We benefit most in this practice when we share space with people of all shapes and sizes and backgrounds. One last thing, this is a non-denominational group. That is to say, we may talk about Buddhism or Christianity or Taoism, but none will be the focus of our study. Rather, we will bring our individual experiences to the group to see what blossoms.

The rates are listed below. If you require financial support please contact Patricia Gorman at or Camden Vancil at

Per Class: $14  Half Tour (6 classes): $75   Full Tour (12 classes): $150
